Hello!
My name is Max Riffner. I’m currently a graduate student at The Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, Vermont. Prior to going back to school, I was an interactive director. I’ve managed design teams for e-commerce and advertising companies. I’ve been professionally designing websites since 1996, and I’ve been drawing comics for as long as I can remember. I’ve even won an award.

I’m a firm believer in hand-coding websites, but things are so much easier running a CMS. This site’s templates are rolled by hand using a combination of Coda and TextMate, and managed with Textpattern. Text is set with Typekit.
