I received my postcard today from the Xeric Foundation verifying that they have received my application. It was complete and will be reviewed in the upcoming weeks.
I’m not so nervous about it now, because it is all out of my hands. Nothing to do but wait; I feel good since I actually did it (versus thinking about it). That was all I could do.
My mother has ended up more nervous about this than I have. She keeps bugging me if they’ve reviewed it yet, or if they have sent my postcard. I think she actually got on the site and looked up the information. I was informed today that I have to call her when I received the postcard, so I owe her a call.
