Working on some web work the next few weeks, reminds me of another time in my life, pre-2001. The research into self-publishing is going well, just soaking up as much information as I can from online resources and books. So far, The Complete Guide to Self Publishing has been indispensible. I’m also looking into grants, specifically, the Xeric, especially after Neil won it recently and recommended it.
The neatest thing I’ve found so far after finishing the creative work for Golden Boy is telling people about it around town. I tell someone around Omaha that I have a comic book coming out, and instantly they want to buy it, sight-unseen.
That’s so cool.
