Issue 4 is going smoothly, in fact, it is downright relaxing to come home and work a page out. After the Tokyopop hoo-ha, I think I hit some sort of production plateau that I am loathe to try to top. I’m ready to coast along getting a page done a night. The entire art process thus far can only be described as getting raked over lemon-juiced barbed wire, so it is nice for it to actually be enjoyable now that I am much more confident in my skills and my speed in producing pages. That was the whole point of wanting to do comics in the first place (besides telling stories), to have fun.
