I’ve been showing some friends Golden Boy, and the consensus is usually the same; they need a little more story in some of the areas. Nothing bad, just good criticism, and I agree with them. Everyone really likes it so far! The story could be enjoyed without the extra (2) pages I want to add, but it will help for a better reader experience. I think during the process of originally writing it I would get too excited and gloss over some areas, where I really needed to show and not tell.
My schedule is finally slowing down a bit (details, as always, over in the Parlor). This Memorial Day weekend, I’m going to draw up some new pages to help smooth out the story. I’ve set up my book templates and my Photoshop actions to convert the color work to black and white. Only thing left to do is to finally finish this thing!
