Not sure if I should comment on this since I don’t have a blog, and you didn’t pass it to me, but I don’t really care.

Total volume of music files on my computer:
82.30 GB or 15,723 songs

The last CD I bought was:
Ghetto Pop Life by Dangermouse and Jemini but I don’t really buy CDs anymore, so the last album I bought was Make Believe by Weezer

Song playing right now:
Oceanside by The Decemberists

Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me:
Leader of the Pack – The Shangri-Las
With or Without You – U2

I will post this on our site…we are a bit late with the answer:

Total volume of music files on my computer:
around 30gb…though I just deleted 10gb off of the laptop yesterday…a lot of that was duplicates though.

The last Cd I bought was:
Devendra Banhart: Nino Rojo
I have five itunes song credits that are burning a hole in my pocket. I want the new spoon so badly, along with the firery furnaces ep etc etc. I will stop now.

We did just buy a ton of records at the Columbus, Mississippi thrift store this weekend. Lots of instrumental surf music. I also got Michael Jackson’s off the wall, too.

Song Playing Right Now:
Live with Regis and Kelly!

Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me:

This is tough

certain artists take me to different places.
These can range from early Joni Mitchell & Cat Stevens to Pavement & Built to Spill to Belle and Sebastian & Magnetic Fields to Iron & Wine & Spoon.

Tough. So I won’t really answer this…though I have a weakeness right now for Ted Leo’s cover of Kelly Clarkson’s Since you’ve been gone & the yeah yeah yeah’s maps. I am sure that it will pass.

I’m ashamed to admit that I like (no, love) the original better than the cover. Thank you, iTunes, for letting me purchase this pop song without having to go to a store and be physically mocked by the employees.

I do like the Ted Leo version, it is just that he sounds a bit too much like Tiny Tim in it for me.

yeah, I like kelly clarkson too. That song, that is…I haven’t heard her other ones. I have a soft spot for the video too. But I just love Ted Leo.
