Atlantic City Spread

Per my last post – here is my double page spread of Atlantic “f-bomb” City for The Grinder.

It was a lot of work, but I think it was one of the best things I could have done for the book as the artist. I’m somewhat obsessed with world-building lately, especially after finishing Making Comics. I wish I would have been more capable in that arena with Golden Boy, because I wanted Omaha to be almost like a character, I just didn’t get how to treat it as such.

I’ve got another graphic novel in mind that features Omaha more prominently, so I’ll get another chance. These are just things I have to pick up along the way.
