Comix Indulgence

My sequential art orgy extravaganza continued yesterday as I picked up even more comics at the comic store. There is one title in particular I wanted to mention… Scott Pilgrim Volume 1: Scott Pilgrim??’s Precious Little Life. I’ve been visiting the creator’s site for several years now, and have watchted O’Malley grow into an incredible talent. Scott Pilgrim is hilarious. Period. You (and by you, I mean people who ask me what sort of comics they’d like) should go buy it and laugh out loud as I did while reading it. It is fun, indie rock, pop culture shennanigans that had me thristy for more. Here is a free PDF preview of the book in case you need (like most people) more incentive than myself blathering unintelligently about it.

I also picked up Samurai Executioner, which of course, kicked all sorts of ass…
