Dee(S)Lite-ful!
Once Backpack had sent out the reminder, the obsession was given clearance to leave the lizard brain and come back out into the light. That obsession being known as Nintendo DS Lite lust. The DS was released on Sunday as I was flying back over the country, so luckily I had the forethought of having Backpack send me a reminder on Monday morning to get one of these bad boys ASAP. I didn’t need it. As much as I tried to bury the obsession, it was never far from my thoughts
I haven’t owned a handheld since the original Gameboy. This is quite a different experience to say the least.
The Chief and I are flying through the New Super Mario Brothers game. I’m thinking about picking up Tetris tonight for some Wi-Fi multiplayer action. The Wi-Fi is what really sold me, but the fact that the whole unit fits very easily in my pocket and reminds me of an Apple laptop didn’t hurt either. Screw working in the coffee shop with laptop in tow. I’ll be sitting in the coffee shop with my DS, playing Tetris against other players around the globe.

I have what I guess from now on will be called “Lard Ass” Nintendo DS.
The wifi thing is cool, if you could ever find someone else who has a DS. I think I saw someone else with a DS one time.. somewhere.
Then that kid turns out to be 8.. and he starts dominating me in Metroid.. and I text him “u r sofa king we tarded. e@t a d!k.”
The story turns darker from there…
