Life as an interactive designer at Bozell has been fantastic. I actually love my job again, and I love all the people I work with (who will read this and give me so much crap tomorrow).
One great example of this is how my comics work crossed over into my design work recently. May I present to you the Doody Dangler. Our small team conceptualized the idea of a super-hero championing the product and then we hammered the site out in a week. The client was thrilled with it. It was just one of those projects that happens every so often where you just have a complete blast on it from start to finish.
I did all the comic illustration and came up with the design for the Dangler, as well as the site design.

“and I love all the people I work with”
And now this is happening. Lights your cube on fire
Ryan is referring to our conversation about Rammstein’s pyrotechnics.
Seriously… this is kind of what we talk about all day while we’re getting work done. And then we actually get all our work done. What is not to love?
“...carries your dog’s load.”
Now that’s some fine entertainment right there.
And the Doody guy does look strangely like Jason. That’s what you get for being a non-doody-picking-up dog owner!

Max,
I find it ironic that the superhero you designed sorta looks like me (well drop 50 lbs. and it does…) when I’m sort of asshole who would NEVER use that product. I’d just let my dog Buddy shit in someone else’s yard.
