F*@% Yeah!

While I am still recovering and gathering photos from the awesomeness of my first Golden Boy signing, I will do some quick hit posting:

1. Today is a sad day for me because Fanboy Rampage, my favorite comics blog of all time shut its doors today after reporting about terrible fanboy behavior from around the web for two years. It grabbed the worse of the comics internet and shed a snarky light on its pale flesh. I will miss thee, Rampage.
2. However, I will replace an old love with a new: Dave’s Long Box. This is my new favorite comics blog. Why? There are many reasons, but the F*@% Yeah! series of posts are everything that is right about comics. Here, Dave documents great moments in comics that made him exclaim “F*@% Yeah!” And he uses a zany Celine Dion photo as his F*@% Yeah! badge. Check this bit out from his recent F*@% Yeah post about Daredevil: Born Again:

I did not strike him. No, I just sat there and looked at him and I thought, “You and I are not going to get along.”

Put simply, anybody that doesn’t like Daredevil: Born Again is no friend of mine.

Too violent? Feh. It’s just violent enough. Adolescent? Only a stupid shithead would think that, Dave said adolescently.

I’m sold.
