Mid shot. There is a cat looking up from the alley, turned and facing the reader with a quizzical look. He can hear the singing and dancing.

Panel 2
Mid shot. There are two old men playing chess in front of the drugstore. We see them both clearly under the store’s tarp.

Panel 1
Closer shot, and moved behind one of the chess players, so we can see the other (facing the sun so he is well lit) looking down at the board. The faint music balloons are appearing in the background.

Panel 2
Same shot, except the lit player is looking around now, eyes squinting.
Player 1: Whudda… is that… am I old or is that music?

Panel 3
Same distance, but pivoted to the other mouse in shadow. He is still looking at the board.
Player 2: You ain’t old, but I wouldn’t call it music anyway.

Panel 4
Switch back to the lit player. He’s still looking up.
Player 1: Phhhf! It’s not bad. That’s Lorenzo again, ain’t it?
Player 1: That boy can dance.
