When I get nailed with too many projects at once, I usually start to get insomnia pretty bad as I lay in bed thinking about all I have to do. One night is bad enough, two gets to be rough as it is hard to focus on anything, thus exacerbating the situation further.
It is hard to keep your spirits up, too. A mix of depression and irritability settle in quickly for me in these situations. I’m trying my best to be cheerful, since the people that I interact with daily don’t know or care about my insomnia, they just want to know why I bit their head off.
Just a few hours sleep would be good… I’m already on day two.
