    Life Review 2005

Every year, I take stock of the things I accomplished during the year and think about the items I’d like to attempt to get done during the coming year. The week between Christmas and New Year’s is usually a pretty slow time for me, and I can ponder these events at great length while finishing up end of the year tasks, the sort that are great for mind-wandering while still being productive.

I don’t know if I have time for any of that crap this year…

I took a vacation day yesterday and already I’m regretting my four day holiday. I worked late on Friday (literally the last person to leave the building by 3 hours or so) to try and get ahead, and now I’m further behind than I want to be at the beginning of the day. I’ll be this busy until April.

    Yuck.

So in the spirit of brevity…

    I think 2005 was a good year:

Now for 2006, I think I would like to see:

And, I even got some things done already that had been planned for 2006:

The Chief and I get goosebumps thinking about how soft our new bed will be when it is delivered Saturday. Oh, it was a merry day-after-Christmas for us, oh yes.

    How did your 2005 go?
