    More Wedding Work

    McMap

The wedding machine marches on! I’ve been contacted to do some maps in the style of Charles Mackintosh for a client, which to say the least is a departure from what I usually do. Above is a detail; I’m especially proud of the directional arrows. The typeface is from the amazing Jon Hicks, which I found quite on accident.

Excellent McMap, McMax. Stylish and funk-tional. Your client will be pleased. Say, I’m not getting married anytime soon, but…

    Just kidding.

Awesome job. I never knew about the font either. Very cool.

I’ve been wishing I had a reason to use that font. Oh well. Awesome design, Max.

Thanks for the nice words, everybody! This is one of those pieces that if the client had never directed, I’d have never gone this way, so kudos, dear client, for making me do something different.

Great to see the font actually being used! It seems destined for wedding stationery, as thats what I created it for in the first place!

    Nice work!

Wow! Thanks for the compliment, Jon, and, of course, the font!

It doesn’t get much cooler than that.
