New (Web) Comics Day
It is Wednesday, and everyone* knows what that means: time for new comics! Wednesday is heralded as New Comics Day in the trumpets of geekdom, where we comic purchasers work ourselves up into a frenzy over getting to the comic store over our lunch hour to get our weekly fix. Sometimes, I can’t wait that long, so I hit the web to satisfy my sick needs. So, in the spirit of New Comics Day, I bring you some cool comic-related things online:
- Superman is a Dick. These are just great. Via Kate.
- The Monster Blog. Celebrating the Marvel monsters created by Jack Kirby.
- The Secret Friend Society. Two wonderful webcomics under one website. It has been really neat so far (just started last week).
- Path of Least Resistance Funnies, by Drew Weing. Just a one page strip that cracks me up every time I read it.
- The Normal Life of Natasha Allegri is a charming daily journal comic. Via the TalkAbouComics.com Blog.
