One Year with Lilly
Wow. I’ve had this little girl for a year now. After a week of non-stop agony, I almost took her back to the Humane Society. She’s cute, she’s a maltepoo, another family would adopt her quickly. I’m very happy I didn’t.
This has been a tough year, and Lilly has stood by me through it all, faithfully licking me silly, biting my hands, urinating on my rug, and making me look like a very effeminate man on our 5-times-a-day walks through the neighborhood.
I’m very happy with my new best bud (she is in my lap licking my arms while I type this), and I hope we have another great year of cuddling on the couch and playing tug of war.

I’ve been where you’re at, brother! For all the time I spent with pals drinking beer and leering at strippers after my marriage went south, the time I spent with my dog was the BEST therapy for me to get thru things. Now I have a house with dog hair and badly stained carpets, but I’d save my dog over most people I know.
