Overload
It has been quiet around here for a few reasons…
- Work: We’re trying to bump a newly built business unit’s site launch up by two weeks. Crankiness ensues, but the alternative is worse (major players will be on vacation during the original launch week). Gah.
- Comics: Again, more mind-blowing discussion of things that I have been dying to have happen. Technology is finally catching up with us. ComiXpress.com does print-on-demand floppy comics for a damn decent price (in color, too). Oh, and they’ll sell them for you, cutting one more step out between creators to consumers. Also, this thread from Modern Tales creator Joe Manely has been a great discussion on issues surrounding web cartoonists getting their work printed and into stores. It gets a great response from other forward thinking retailers (cough – Bowzizzer.com) and creators. Worth a read. I’ve been going back to it every few hours and re-reading it.
- House: Still hunting…
- Class: I was at an all-day class which is surprisingly blowing my mind apart and rebuilding it again at the end of the day. The resulting scar tissue is gnarled and tough, ready for battle.
That’s about it.
