Serial Monsters
If you haven’t been reading Monster Island, you’ve been missing out on some of the coolest serial fiction in quite some time. The penultimate chapter was released today. David Wellington has taken advantage of the blog format for this serial novel by making each post a chapter and releasing it three days a week, as well as gaining instant feedback from his audience through site comments. It certainly got my brain moving with ideas.
Oh yeah, and if you still aren’t convinced… Monster Island is all about the zombie takeover of the world. It has been the perfect way to start my mornings during the work week. Go read.
