    Sluggish Stoppage

    Don’t you hate it when, despite all your efforts, you cannot get enough sleep? I’ve been dragging ass all week. In fact, my whole family has been dragging ass all week (although we found out Quincy has a urinary tract infection last night – poor little guy). But I cannot seem to get my energy levels back up from being sick last week. When I get like this, I immediately stop what I am working on by 10 PM sharp and shut down the computer to begin getting ready for bed. Once that whole process is done, I lay in bed and read to unwind (and to clear my head from any possible insomnia stressors). I’m usually fast asleep around 11 PM or so. If I don’t do the 10 PM Cutoff, I can end up not getting to bed until 1:30 in the morning (much to the Chief’s chagrin).

    The worst is that I am having to force myself into completing necessary tasks, like paying bills or returning emails. I’m just so sluggish that it seems like I can’t possibly do it, even if it takes a second or two of my time.

    I typically get by on about 5-7 hours of sleep a night just fine (even on the weekends), so all this extra sleep is making me feel a bit lazy. However, I can’t wait to sleep in this weekend. I’ve been daydreaming about it all week.
