    Soothe the Beast

    Yesterday, in a word, sucked.

It was one of those days where you walk in to work knowing it will suck, then you get some more suckage dropped on you. Finally, before you leave, you get a big suck suppository roughly placed up you before the door hits your ass on the way out. Everyone has these days; they happen.

I am not the easiest person to get along with at this point. Especially when stuck in rush hour traffic. However, I have found the secret feel-good pill: listening to Miles Davis chills me out by 2 minutes into Kind of Blue.

Two minutes and I’m happy again; that is pretty amazing for me.

So, it’s Friday (and I’ll be away from the computer until this evening), but what chills you out? I want to know your zen relaxation techniques…

A dip in a spa does it for me. At the moment I don’t have access to one, but on vacations and when I’m out of town, this relaxes me.

Prolonged use of a spa, however, will make you feel dizzy.

    :)

Nothing really. I either get past the problem at hand or hate the world and living in it just a little bit more.

I’m generally pretty full of hate and despair.

    Love,

I’ve never been one for spas, but maybe it’s because I look like a wet, hairy wildebeast in one.

    That ain’t right. :)

The phrase “Wet Wookie” comes to mind…
