Yesterday, I sprang out of bed and began to pack some of my detritus to move to the house (Nikki already having packed quite a bit). I borrowed my folks’ little pickup and made three trips in the unseasonal heat.
Most of the first (and most exhausting) trip consisted of my comic collection. I had 6 long boxes worth of comics at my apartment, and about 14 at my parents’ house still. While I was packing loose comics and trades away that more often than naught I have never read more than once, I started to make comparisions to the “paperless” office. Will there be “paperless” comic collections in the future?
After moving the initial six boxes, the question then turned to “so, paper is really heavy; maybe there is a big future in doing web comics?” The more I thought about doing a serial web comic, the better I felt. I’m online all the time anyway; I’m a web designer by trade. I love the web. Why not do exclusive sequential art online?
Look for something after I finish Quick Step (which I already announced to be a free, online comic once completed). I have a couple of great ideas brewing for a regular dose of Max-brewed comics.
If moving doesn’t kill me first…
