The Quiet Man
Meet our new (and first) dog… Quincy. They described him as a “quiet man” on his kennel description at the Humane Society, and it’s the truth. Quincy has only barked once at my folks’ cat when we took him over to meet them.
Quincy also has an uncanny resemblance to my only other dog, Skippy, except since Quincy is a Westie mutt, he’s white. Also, he doesn’t stink, eat garbage and/or feces, and doesn’t bark at everything that moves. Basically, Quince is the best dog ever, and he loves to cuddle with us as we lay on the couch. And he perks up when football is on TV.
How can you beat that?

Congrats on Quincy! He’s so cute! New house, new dog…you guys are almost real adults now!
Thanks for all the congrats! Quincy, and subsequently we, had a bit of a rough night last night. Seems he doesn’t like his kennel too much, but I couldn’t stay mad at the little guy.

We didn’t even have to wish upon a star or anything to be ‘real live adults,’ we just had to spend a lot of money. :)
Don’t let him steal the spot at your wife’s feet on the couch though.

That dog has got some Mississippi Leg Hound in him! You can tell by the grin on his face! He’s looking for some good humpin’!
Heh! He hasn’t tried to hump me yet. Nikki got him riled up the other day though and he tried it on her.
Maybe he only likes to play with crazy Uncle Jess?
I can’t wait to go home tonight because he’s at the groomer today. He’s going to be so cute! I just know it! Who knows how many pictures I’ll take tonight?!
