After a long week of fighting freakish snowstorms, we sat back and chilled last night. We kicked it with some rented movies and games, and for once, we didn’t watch the weather.
Around midnight, I kept noticing heavy machine sounds. I looked out the window towards the giant parking lot across from us. There were several giant front load tractors grabbing snow from the giant plow piles and transporting it to dump trucks, which then hauled it away.
We watched this with the intensity of a child who plays obsessively with Tonka toys. I got up this morning around 9. They were still working. I kept watching.
The big question is, where the hell are they taking the snow?
