Workpocalypse

I’m very busy. I’m trying to take care of myself but I’m starting to see cracks, cracks I can’t patch up right now.

There a couple things that are greasing me through the work. One is Gnarls Barkley, the new Dangermouse team-up album with Cee Lo. Check out their MySpace page to hear some of their tracks. It’s been perfect background music. Also check out the video for Crazy, quite possibly my favorite song ever (at least for this month).

The other thing I’m looking forward to is Free Comic Book Day 2006! Come by Krypton Comics on Saturday, May 6th for some free comics and sketches by moi, Phil Hester, Bruce McCorkindale, and many more. Oh yeah, the Krypton staff got Sarah Douglas of Superman II to come by and sign autographs also.

Free Comic Book Day is like a mini-convention; the atmosphere of excitement and comics love permeates the whole day. If you’ve wanted to get into comics and never knew where to start or what to pick up, stop by and have the staff help you out with some new and free books, then swing by the artists table for free sketches!

Gonna miss seeing you guys ay Krypton this weekend. Alas, the day job beckons that day!

Looking forward to the next artist jam there, however. Too bad you won’t be around for the Des Moines comic-con.
