For the 2008 Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting, Borsheim’s Jewelry (a Berkshire Hathaway company) wanted a promotional site for information regarding the weekend’s events and to also have the ability to live blog highlights for shareholders who possibly couldn’t make it to Omaha. I designed the site with Borsheim’s current branding in mind and also with an eye towards prominent photography to capture the enormity of the event. In addition to the large amount of national press attention, a Google ad campaign was set up to help drive traffic to the site. BorsheimsBRK.com will continue to be used for future events based on the success of this year’s launch.
