Quick Step is about a mouse named Lorenzo Quick, and boy, this kid can dance! Unfortunately, there is another great dancer at school, Jonny B, who has his eyes set on Sandra to take to the Spring Fling. And well, Sandra seems to have her eyes set on Lorenzo. The heart of Sandra is the prize once Jonny challenges Lorenzo to a good ol’ dance-off! But Lorenzo may have other ideas...
Quick Step will be released in webcomic format online on June 2, 2005, and will be updated weekly every Thursday until December (26 weeks).

Ugh! I gotta start working ahead a bit more; I can’t stand the “night before” stress of working a page. I pencilled this one on Tuesday night after mowing the lawn in the heat wave we’re experiencing here in the Midwest. Let me tell you, the pencils left me with a big bout of anxiety, because they looked bad.
Fortunately, my theory of making myself adhere to a regular deadline seems to be working in my favor because I really like how this page turned out! The idea of making myself bang out a polished product once a week is working out very well for me, as I’m able to turn some bad pencils into gold. This may be one of my favorite pages out of all that I’ve done, but that could be because I saw the bad pencils, and you never will!
I’m even more happy that the first appearance of Lorenzo is a good one. What kind of comic would this be when the page introducing the main character blew chunks?
